From time to time we receive second-hand used Macs, which we refurbish and recondition with a clean system. We have GTech and Glyph, Seagate FreeAgent and GoFlex, LaCie, Formac and external Hard Drives for backing up your data or adding extra storage, and screens or monitors, and calibration devices, including the eye-one. For networking we have ADSL or Cable Routers, and Wireless Routers. Bluetooth, Airport extreme, CD's, CDR, DVDR, Software and we upgrade memory using only Kingston high quality memory with a Lifetime Warranty.

Mac Repairs, Tantra Macintosh Computers offers a fast and well priced Mac repair service for both hardware and software problems. Hardware: Crashed hard drives, dead screens, dead logic boards, faulty memory, dead power supplies, DC Inboards not charging, faulty CD/DVD drives, and mystery problems. Software: System software upgrades, Outdated system, Mac slowed down, crashing, unstable, slow internet, generally slow, crashing in certain programs, overfilled hard drive, lost data, too small hard drive, insufficient Ram. Data Recovery: if the drive still runs its easier, if the drive is dead we can still often get data but it costs a lot more ( file names and folder organisation may also be lost)

Second Hand and Refurbs, Tantra offers a large range of reconditioned and second hand macs. Our widest choice is in laptops from recent 15 month old Unibody MacBook Pro 15" and 17" laptops to 13" MacBooks and the older Core2Duo MacBook Pros aged between 2 and 3 years old. The cosmetic condition will vary with the price but the near perfect 15" models can be £800 - £1000 + vat and the older £600 - £800 + vat with the smaller 13" recent models at about £800 + vat and the older ones from £450 - £600 + vat. Sometimes we have iMacs. These come with a short warranty and set up with system software and are ready to go.

We can train you in the administration and set up of your own sub-domains. Tantra has been involved in reproduction by lithography and silk screen for 30 years but now we offer a new archival service for Artists, Painters, Printmakers and Graphic Designers. We have wide format (up to 44" wide) Archival giclee printers that can produce virtually any size print from A4 to A0, to an extremely high quality that will last for over 100 years. These prints can be framed and sold as limited edition prints having the vibrancy and accuracy of the originals. We use a range of different media including Hahnemühle Photo-Rag fine art paper, gloss or satin photo paper, watercolour or smooth matt paper and we can also produce stretched canvas prints from your photographs or scans.
