B  We hold only the necessary data to offer services provided by us.

C  Data is only used for the purposes described in the Data Protection Register

D  We only hold personal data for the period it is required to supply the goods and services ordered and once it is no longer required it is deleted from our files

E   We may email website news and information updates to those customers who have specifically subscribed to our email service. All subscription emails contain clear information on how to unsubscribe

F   We Promise :  We never sell, rent or exchange mailing Lists

G   We do not share data with partners as we do not have partners or companies that we are closely associated with

H  We operate keen Spam filtering software and will do our very best to ensure no spam is received or sent via our mail server.

Below you will find information on WHAT and WHY information we need to collect and how we manage this data

We will need to collect contact information: in the shop, over the phone, via our website or by email  – items like your:

phone number(s) – we may need to ask an urgent question during a service, or tell you the job is ready

postal address – for invoicing or sending goods

email address – for sending out quotes and information that involves a lot of detail, and if you have allowed us to send you annual
or  twice annual emails of our promotions or computer offers

your computers details – for assessing quotes or ordering parts:
year of manufacture, model name, serial number and specifications, condition and relevant mishaps

Your preferred email application and the access password to transfer and test your email running.
If you prefer not to give this we will not be able to test the email is transferred and running properly.
Or if you supply the current one you are able to change the password after a service if you wish.

If you wish your user data transferred and tested we will need your computer user password so that after the drive is wiped and/or
data transferred we can re-import the data and test it running. If you prefer not to supply this we can still do the service and set the computer
up with a generic password (which we will tell you) but we will not be able to test and check all the data is correctly transferred

Your preferred and most used apps so that the computer can be set up and tested as it was before the service

Service details and work done to your computer, memory upgraded, hard drives fitted, lcd screen replaced, system upgraded and we will
need to store this for 10 years which is the normal lifetime of a computer – so that we can engage with the history of your computer
even when you may not remember the details yourself

Feedback information about the good points and poor points in the work we have done for you so that we can improve our work and ensure we
provide a better experience for you when we have fallen short-  if we are given the chance

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data so that is can no longer be associated with you in order to statistically analyse numbers of
of things like hard drive failures or water damage, broken LCD panels or Ram memory failure in order to run the computer business more efficiently.
In such cases we may use such information without further notice to you.

Occasionally we send out an eMailout or eNewsletter  by email once or twice yearly keeping you up to date with important computer
information, Updates, Apple Recalls or extended warranties and offers or promotions we may make from time to time.
This is handled by a third party supplier –  a reputable and secure company called SendinBlue. It gathers statistics around email opening and
clicks using standard technologies to help us monitor and update our newsletter.
