Known problems

If you are on Telewest Blueyonder cable broadband you cannot send mail out using a Tantraweb account. You must use the Blueyonder account provided for you. You can however send mail out with a Tantraweb account reply address so recipients do not see the Blueyonder address.

If you are having problems with your email you can go to WEBMAIL.MINX.NET.UK where you will find an online mail portal where you can check any mail waiting to download. You will need your username and password to logon. This service can be access from any internet connected computer in the world, so you can check your Tantraweb mail abroad. I can view web pages but cannot send or receive mail, my mail program sometimes "times out" or crashes after a while.

There may be a mail waiting to be sent or received that is too large, and is stuck on the mail server or on your computer.

Use the WEBMAIL SERVICE mentioned above to check your mail. alternatively look in your "outbox" for large mails.

Mails larger than 1Mb (1024Kb) cannot be transmitted through a dial-up connection. Mails larger than 5Mb cannot be transmitted over broadband**
